| Rainbow Rider Transit's mission is to meet the transportation
needs of all residents in Douglas, Pope, Stevens, and Traverse
Counties in Minnesota in the safest, customer-oriented, and most
cost-effective manner possible. Our transit company is dedicated to the highest quality of customer service delivered with a sense of warmth, friendliness, individual pride, and company spirit. Rainbow Rider is your public transportation system serving residents of all ages. We have no income or age restrictions and no forms to fill out. We offer bus service to any destination within our four-county Minnesota area and we offer a Volunteer Driver Program, in which volunteer drivers can get you to your desired destination. All buses offer a child seat and are complete with handicapped accessible lifts to accommodate any specific needs you may have. All rides are pre-arranged by calling our dispatch center at 320-283-5061 or 1-800-450-7770 between the hours of 6 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday.  |
Rainbow Rider Transit Board is a policy-making body responsible for transit policy in Douglas, Pope, Stevens, and Traverse Counties. The board is made up of two county commissioners from each county. Implementation of board policy is the responsibility of the director of transit.
